Detailed Description

A group of Delta employees, contracted experts, staff of childrens’ hospitals, and experienced Pet Partners worked together to produce Visiting Hospitalized Children. Children are often more medically fragile, the facilities often have concerns and fears about animals in pediatric settings, and parents must be involved in whether their children participate in the visiting program. The handbook is intended to be a user guide for the Pet Partner and is designed to be carried along on visits.
