National Pet Partners® Committee

The purpose of the National Pet Partners® Committee is for members is to use their expertise to advise, support and enhance the activities of the National Pet Partners® Program of Delta Society®.

The National Pet Partners Committee has been formed to assist in the goals of the Pet Partners Program and in the delivery of Delta Society's mission by becoming an additional resource of knowledge and expertise, as well as in project time and effort. The Committee's overarching goal is assisting existing and potential Pet Partners and other volunteers to successfully reach their goals while promoting and maintaining high standards for safety, quality and professionalism in all interactions.

The Committee will initially focus on investigating reported Pet Partner incidents to determine if any further action is required. During the course of investigations and resulting determinations, the Committee will establish consistent methods and procedures to formalize and streamline the incident process. The Committee also will review other existing processes, procedures and curriculum to take action and make recommendations for updates and changes as necessary or at Delta Society's request and direction. The Committee will form sub-committees as needed and work collaboratively with additional committees Delta Society currently has in the works. Watch for upcoming details on how you can get involved!
